>>5291698You’re unarmed, but you’re not defenseless. If these boys seek to do harm to you and Corrine, they’ll have a fight on their hands. The room you and Dorothea have lived in for the last year is small, accommodating merely two beds and a desk. Very little room for an all-out brawl. In such close quarters, it’s likely you and Corrine may take some minor collateral damage. But that’s nothing compared to the three Black Eagles in front of you, who should take the full force of your attack. As you mentally channel the magic required to cast a flame spell, the reality of the situation hits you. These aren’t bandits, or Western Church soldiers or even Inhumans. Despite the bad blood between you all, these are still Black Eagle students. Your comrades. Or at least they were. As the flames dance around your fingers and Derrek steps forward, hand on his sword, you realize there’s no going back from this.
A stream of flames erupts from your hands, filling the room you’re in. Derrek raises his hands in surprise, but they offer little resistance against your magic. The cape that the boy wears ignites, and his screams echo across the dormitory. The flames jut around him, hitting Byron, who stumbles out of the room past Ronald. The only mage in their group, Ronald sports higher resistance than his companions, and he is able to weather most of the attack.
In these close quarters, you and Corrine are also affected by your magic. Though the burns you take are not quite as bad as the ones received by Derrek and Byron, you both still take some damage from the attack.

Your dorm room is charred and ruined. The three boys are sent scrambling out of the room, attempting to pat out the flames and regain their bearings. Byron and Ronald succeed, but Derrek is not so fortunate. The boy is still ablaze, the fine clothing he was wearing proving to be highly flammable. As he continues hollering, attempting to pat out the blaze, his suffering ceases when Corrine’s axe finds its way into his skull, splitting his face in two.
(Derrek: 0/48 HP)
“You fucking bitch!” Byron roars. He charges towards Corrine, sword and shield out, and the two engage in combat. As much as you want to help her, you have your own problem to contend with.

You’d make quick work of this boy if you had your any one of your weapons, but they’re still lying in a trunk in the charred remnants of your room. Unfortunately, you’ll have to defeat him using magic, an area this mage likely outclasses you in.
>A): Attack Ronald with Magic (Choose a Spell)>B): Get in close and attack with Kronya’s Dagger (Roll SPD x 3)
