But this time you're far more careful, not crushing his smaller, weaker hand in your grip. “As I thought, you're far stronger than the sorry state you were in yesterday.”
“I always give it my all in battle.” you reply, letting him go. “It took a lot out of me to use the power I did, but it was worth it.”
“Again, I thank you.” he replies, giving you a small nod. “Now, given that you all are out here, I take it that you all are hungry?”
“Yes sir.” you reply after your stomach growls angrily again, the older man laughing heartily.
“Good, good. We have plenty of crops for you all to eat, please help yourselves.” he tells you, leading you all back into the village to a long table. You all sit down, the leader bringing over bushels of the leafy vegetables that they were tending. “Please, help yourselves.”
“Thank you.” you tell him, then help yourself. While you do prefer meat, you're not one to turn away from an offered meal. So you chow down, easily eating the entire head of leafy food before you in just a few minutes. The elder seems quite surprised as the four of you all each finish the entire vegetable placed before you, grabbing seconds and thirds before you all clear them all out in minutes each.
“Ah, I... It seems that I have underestimated your appetites. If you all want, I can go get more from the field.” he says, you shaking your head.
“No thanks, that won't be necessary.” you reply, again thanking him for the food. “We do need to go see Nail, and the elder he spoke of.”
“When you meet Grand Elder Guru, please be respectful.” Elder Tsuno says. “He is infinitely wise and powerful, he was the one who created the Dragon Balls after all.”
“Wait, he is the one who made them?” you ask, surprised by this new information. “Interesting.”
