In the 41st Millenium, there is only war. In this grim dark future, brother turns against brother, son against father, daughter against mother. For most, there is no one to trust, no one to turn to. Even amongst those whom you would place all your faith, there is always but a niggling suspicion that they are the one who will cut you down. For most in this dark future, there is little room for anything else other than the vicious struggle for survival. And even for those fortunate few who have the time and resources to turn their attentions to better things, almost all focus on the betterment of their station and their prestige rather than anything that would help mankind as a whole, and even among those fortunate few, there are those who turn their attentions to much darker things still. It is in this world that Kvar finds himself, and only time and the grace of <span class="mu-r">God</span> will tell whether his efforts bear fruit, or simply a bitter reckoning…
