They may not be evil, and it may not be a crime to desire a high role in a hierarchical society, but steps would have to be taken to ensure that they do not fall back upon the ways of the ancients and give in to the pleasures of tyranny over their supplicants.
Perhaps they could be kept within the capital, so that the red naga can keep a close eye upon them and keep them in check. To do so however would reinforce the capital as a place of holy power, which could have both positive and negative connotations in the future. Perhaps each naga could be assigned to a settlement? That would be possible, but if one were to go rogue they would have an entire city under their control. Perhaps they should only be allowed to do so after he has tutored them for some time.
The red naga is getting caught up in hypothetical scenarios and overthinking. The Rex asks him how he feels instead, a reverse of their typical relationship that causes both to laugh. He replies that he does not feel these female nagas are a threat, they are genuinely friendly and helpful, and he hopes he can guide them along the right path as he has done with your people.
What is to be done with these five? Do we allow them to join our society, and if so, in what capacity?
