This buys you just enough time to use your PUPPETEER ability on the spooks. Dozens on dozens of tiny pink strands launch out of the tips of your fingers and towards the SPOOK.
They embed deep into her left arm. She tries to pull herself closer to her gun but the resistance from your ability is too much for her to simply shrug off. Panic immediately sets in, <span class="mu-s">"NO! NO, I WON'T..."</span>
That's when she does something you've seen before.
She begins to put all of her augmented strength into trying to pull her arm free of the strands. They're a LOT stronger since you last used them on an actual foe so she's not budging. Yet she keeps trying to pull and pull and pull at it.
<span class="mu-r">A sickeningly wet sound fills the air.</span> Your eyes widen when you notice the flesh around her arm beginning to tear. The sight reminds you of seeing someone pulling apart tender pork with a pair of forks. It's hard to tell what color the blood is through the greenish filter of your NIGHTVISION GOOGLES but it's way too bright to be real blood.
Spores begin to flood into the tattered, mangled wound on her arm. You don't notice it infesting her but it's slowing down her regeneration by a small amount.
You shoot out more and more strands to embed into the rest of her body. With each new limb locked, she's even more frantic in her attempts to literally rip her body apart. Her body thrashes and contorts with seemingly little conscious awareness on her part.
[PERSON OF INTEREST] Do they really trust their own regeneration that much? Or is she just panicking? Hard to tell.
"Like an animal in a trap chewing its leg off..." Clover shudders at the sickening callousness the spook has to her own body. "Casey!"

The two move in to grab onto her limbs before she can rip herself out of your strands by LITERALLY ripping herself out of them. More and more spores flood into her system as she continues to rip her body apart. Her gaze is locked onto you and it nearly causes you to lose focus but...

You are just barely able to fully restraint her and in no small part thanks to your allies. She does get one lucky kick at Casey that probably would've killed her on the spot without any armor on with how much force was put behind it...
But the high quality armor Casey is wearing only causes Casey to smash HARD against a nearby wall. She's dazed but otherwise unarmed.

The agent's natural SPOOK REGENERATION has mostly healed her attempted auto dismemberment. Big circular patches of off-white fuzz cover large swatches and bright bloodstains soaking into her suit and pants are the only sign she was even injured at all.
