Oh boy. The harvester carries the dog to the containment cell in question, with a gas mask snuggly adjusted onto the dog, while the harvester actually has protective equipment on.
The storm is too busy staring at the paint coating the walls and floor to notice the two entering.
You note it's actually shrunk a bit, like it's trying to avoid running too much of the paint.
ANOMALY: Pretty...
Employee L snorts at this cute display. She puts the dog on the floor.
L: Yo. Long time no see, sandy. Remember me?
The storm shifts at hearing Employee L's voice.
It's been so long since you came here. Can you let me out? I want to see outside...
ANOMALY: Oh! You're the one Moni said I hurt! Sorry! I really am!
It's very obvious from her tone of voice she's not.
L: Uh huh. Well, I'm here to let you play with the dog again. I also got a question to ask you.
ANOMALY: Oh! Sure! Give me a...
The storm twists to start catching after the dog. You gotta admit, Employee R keeping pace with a literal storm is impressive.
L: I thought raining cats and dogs was bad. Now we gotta deal with dogs blowing around?
ANOMALY: Hehehe! You're funny when you want to be!
L: Yeah, yeah. I get that a lot. I think I'm rusty though, gotta...DUST it off.
The two giggle at the stupid pun while the dog runs for her life.
L: So. About my question. Why do you like girls so much?
L: I mean. Girls are cute, I'll agree with you there, but it's weird that's the only thing we knew about you at first.
Mom? I'm scared. Why is dad yelling? Who's at the door?
I'm not letting you disappear again! Run! Hide! Go to the shelter!
ANOMALY: ...It's, uh.
The storm stops chasing after the dog, to the bewilderment of said dog.
ANOMALY: I just feel safer with girls. I'm a girl, you're a girl, there's no...you know.
ANOMALY: Nothing that can hurt me. I'm safe like this. This is how it shoudl be.
The harvester is shocked at the sudden shift of tone.
L: I imagine it's still boring staying in here with only a visit every hour.
ANOMALY: I mean, yeah! But I...
ANOMALY: I'm scared. I don't want to be put back in a tiny cube. At least there's room to play in here.
L: I can guess that's a bit of a sore spot. I'm sorry.
L: Look. How about I make it up to you? I got some berries planted, so I have some to spare.
She flicks one of the many reddish berries at the storm, who quickly eats it up.
L: Let's play a game. Try to catch the berries before they hit the ground! Roxy, you're playing too!
ANOMALY: Okay!
R: RUFF!
The rest of the time spent is here is playing this game Employee L made on the spot.
Soon, she runs out of berries. The mood is a lot lighter now after the game, though.
L: Six to Siro, Five to Roxy. That was fun!
L: I'll see you later!
ANOMALY: Yeah, yeah! That was fun!
The two employees exit the containment cell, leaving the storm by her lonesome yet again.
She goes back to staring at the paint.
