While you weren’t sure what was happening, one thing was for certain- Yuliana had wanted you to cut her, and didn’t seem to mind much about the cut she’d taken. She’d expected you to slice her from the start and had let you get a free one in, and even if you’d taken that as a bonus after giving her the sort of slap her father should have given her at one point, she hadn’t been disappointed, despondent. It told you enough. The rules of victory were simply putting the opponent on the ground for three seconds. Pummeling Yuliana into a pulp would be as effective as it was therapeutic.
Besides, your stronger arm would be the one striking now. You looked at her fat chest, the unarmored breast, and saw it an easy target. Center mass. Soft. Ideal for driving a fist into, and unlike the solar plexus in these harnesses, unarmored.
Should you clean off your blade, you had to wonder. Wiping it off would mean lowering your guard, but if you could…
Yuliana wasn’t waiting for you to come and pound her breast through her ribcage, though, nor for you to wipe her stain off. Already she was coming forward- and you stepped forward to meet her, knife held out in a guard while you cocked your shoulder back for another haymaker.
Then something strange happened. The knife tugged somewhat. Little specks of blood danced in the air between you and Yuliana, and even though you were pivoting a hip towards Yuliana while she lunged with her knife towards you, and you anticipated being able to turn away from it…your left arm was suddenly yanked on by something unseen!
>Roll to Attack, 3 sets of 1d10- Attack is being interfered with in unknown manner, so roll is reduced! DC Roll Over 7, each pass increases damage.
>Roll to Defend 3 sets of 1d10- Due to Attacking, the Defense Roll is lesser. DC Roll Over 5, every successful roll out of 3 mitigates damage, potentially nullifying.
