As the Primarchs now had their free reign to go across the Craft World and exact their wrath upon the place, TalOS made his way to the spot he was most interested in. Within the air TalOS could taste the warp flowing easily through the halls as well as a deep seated monster that seemed to lie within all of it.
There was something similar to the creature that TalOS met, similar to Tzeentch, that poisoned each and every piece of this vessel. As for its effects upon TalOS there was none. The only thing he had was the bitter taste upon his soul.
The Skitarii were the ones who took point as they continued saturating the environment with a large amount of radioative forces. This caused the vast majority of rooms that TalOS walked into to be covered with the goeified corpses of both Skitarii and Eldar alike as the Skitarii continued their assualt.
AS they acted as vanguard TalOS and his Steel Wardens followed them up. While TalOS had come onto the craft with Null Nobilite it would have been detrimental to bring their kind with TalOS in this specific venture. The reason was simple, the amount of radiation within the room being so extreme that their still humanoid bodies would not survive.
The Skitarii continued their work up until a large room where the Warp caused a great many of them to melt into flames. Reports came in to TalOS and in an instant the Primarch knew they had found what he was looking for.
The place they were stuck was a large reception hall that was once more covered in corpses. Unlike many of the rooms through this one sported a large part of double doors that were ornately crafted with a series of images and styles that TalOS instantly recognized.
It was the Pantheon of the Aeldari.
In addition to the artwork the door was saturated with magical energies. To TalOS’s understanding it is likely that because of the art work the door was able to hold something amounting to a curse to any who approached it. A curse that turned any who approached it into a pile of burnt ashe.
The Steel Wardens quickly took the flanks as TalOS approached the door. TalOS felt the Warp try to reach out and attack him but it faltered as the raw power was simply turned into essance for his consumption. With impediment TalOS placed a hand upon the doors and pushed open to reveal the chamber which laid before them.
