You'd accidentally decimated the training grounds, the bright light from your attack made sight impossible. Dust and debris were sent flying in all directions when the enormous shockwave rippled throughout the wastes and toppled rock in its radius as you and your teacher were launched away from its force. In a handful of seconds that felt like a lifetime, the violent rumbling ceased, and the both of you were laid in a heap when the dust cleared.
"You know what?" Kelper coughed and hacked in the unsettled dust. "We'll start small from now on."
After the explosion you caused that was felt and seen even by Hogany village's residents, the rest of your time with Kelper was focused on making sure you utilized your ki responsibly, only using a fraction of what you felt possible. It was stressed to you, during the 4th and 5th days, about how much more power you had in your hands, and you were made to practice manifesting your ki until you could match Kelper's less destructive output. And in another day you also learned how to utilize flight, getting coached by Kelper on how to maneuver in the air as you tried hard not to fly past your teacher multiple times.
All of this training with Ki had an unexpected bonus. On the last day of your tutoring as today's session wrapped up, you told him how today you felt a strange sixth sense if you focused hard enough in your meditation.
"Amazing!" He exclaimed. "Of all the students I had in my care, you're the fastest one I've taught in a long time! It takes 3 weeks for the usual student to get the basics down, and you breezed through it in ten days!"
The two of you land at the base of the tower afterwards, but Kelper pulls out a small wooden emblem from his robes and offers it to you.
"We were supposed to go over the basics of learning how to sense energy tomorrow, but it looks like you have it under control." He sighs out as you take the small emblem. The image carved into the pocket sized memento showed a small face smiling. "And I have nothing left to teach you. If there's anything you want to go over, or if you just want to visit, let me know with a call."
