I nodded as maidens placed food before me, in many tiny saucers and dishes. A box shaped... cup, or something was in front of me full of a clear liquid. The Daitengu himself was not eating any of the normal food. Instead, he has a cauldron, or something of the like that was boiling brought out and set in front of him. A very large wooden straw extended from it and he leaned forward and shoved it into... some port or opening on his metallic head to siphon the liquid through.
[SCHEIRACHT] "Aaaahh... Mm. Ah, forgive me, I must intake a concoction dense with protein-crystals and blattabacterium in the consistency of a fatty soup to feed myself. Ah... What's the matter?"

He was so polite. I did not think he would be like this way at all.

[SCHEIRACHT] "Ahahaha. You continue to amuse me, but please, 'Lordship' is what my Samurai call me by. You may just use my name. And as for the screen, those leaves were not originally on it. The yellow sun represents the Emperor's light that struck the Hainei and ended the monoculture in the New Beginning's start. Though, now we live under the New Eternity. But, every time we come one step closer to ending the Final War and bridging the gap to the Great Rebirth, a leaf is added. It represents the Hainei's healing. There are screens like it in every castle in Yongesia."

I feasted at Scheiracht's table. I ate a dinner known as gyudon, along with rice and an odd choice in fried chicken, which was explained to me as being a celebratory seasonal food, and I drank sake. It was sweetened with a lychee taste and the alcoholic content was not great.
The Blade of Blades across me simply continued to slurp his strange liquid base to feed.
