As you know, if it were you instead with the taste of blood, you would not have stopped. But Idaios is king concerned with his subjects and their perception, so you were more valuable defeated than dead. To claim symbolic victory and thus right to rule, for defeating the ancient legendary sea monster.
<span class="mu-s">"It was after that we were brought here, and chained."</span> he raises his hand to indicate the metal bonds between your wrist and his. <span class="mu-s">"I cannot tell time down here, but I believe it has not been very long... I slept twice... I-I think, Tanaloa, that the king no longer considers you a danger, after that challenge."</span>
Hearing Faysal's words is something of a surprise, considering what could have happened to you after your loss to the king. Do these sea folk truly think... after being free of this place of course, that you will simply leave the city? That you'll just swim away and never return? They must still think of you as some ancient mythical creature, that showed up out some some prophecy only to disappear again after. Well in truth you don't want to stay here, in fact you're pretty upset after your defeat, but you most certainly are not done with Atlantis or King Idaios. Not by a long shot.
Rising to stand then, you almost yank Faysal's arm off and have to try to remember that you're chained together. Moving over to the barred door of the cell to try and see more of what you can, out of curiosity you try yanking at the bars.
<span class="mu-s">"You waste your effort, I saw some... man-whale creature unable to break free-"</span>
<span class="mu-b">"-hnnngh-ah! Look, it came off."</span>
With a mighty feat of strength, you grip with one hand and then the other, and tensing your body you quite simply rip the barred door right out of the rock wall. Well, not so simply; it was a terrible noise and the water fills with dirt and debris. But there is nothing stopping you now from just going free.
<span class="mu-s">"Oh... what-what was I saying, of course you can do it! Fools, they stand no chance! Come, where is that king? Let us return his hospitality twice over!"</span>
They must not have had a demigod sea monster in mind when they built this place, much less putting you in a cell. How quickly Faysal goes from a depressed, dejected mess over your shared fate, to his familiar bold self with hope restored. Enough to even want to find that damned king again for a rematch!
Ah but you are perhaps wiser than that.
>Try and escape! You may not get another chance like this!
>If you can so easily break out of this place, then it can't be that well-run anyway. Wait for some guards or other, and inform them of the new power dynamic of the situation.
>After all that has happened recently, you'd rather not cause another uproar. Just see if you can find who's in charge here, and what the plan for you was.
>...jailbreak! Free anyone or anything else you can, and try to take advantage of the chaos!
