Grunbeld and the armored swordsman have locked eyes, staring into each other with as much fighting intent flowing through them as their need to devour themselves in enemy blood.
While luck appeared to be on your side as the number of your team evened out against theirs, a few apostles had found their way to the entity, and having them fight while empowered by the dark magician could prove to be worrisome, but regardless, the creature kept chanting to itself, focusing on drawing more soul blades while multiplying their force.
"Should we attack them?"
"In front of Grunbeld while he's fighting? Nah! You'd be asking for a death sentence at that point. Only transform on command, remember?"
"But if this thing is already giving us magic force, think of the damage we'll cause when we are unleashed! She's already handing it out to everyone but the big guys, so it's not like she'd turn it off if we did something else."
The smaller apostles ponder to themselves. Now that Grunbeld has forgotten about you as a duelist, what are the chances a line of monsters at the same time as you deal with the entity?
Moderate, you would say, were it not for your broken wrist. Since it merely dislocated and adrenaline is numbing most of the pain, you could attempt to place it back where it was, though you have never tried to do that before, it certainly wouldn't be nearly as debilitating as suturing brattled bones with iron sutures the size of spikes, like Guts' armor is currently doing as blood spills out of his breastplate with each wild swing of the dragonslayer, doing as much damage to the crystal dragon as he does to himself.
>Fire soul arrows at the apostles before they transform.
>Attack the entity now that Grunbeld has left you alone.
>Mount on Gunpowder and plow through them with his speed.
>Use your soul double to fight twice the enemies simultaneously.
>Attempt to fix your wrist.
>Seal their form and keep them from transforming.
>Plant your last tree, imbue it with Od and burst it's splinters to all present.
>Help Guts do more damage on Grunbeld. He'll go down faster that way.
>Something else.
