The submarine quest is clever because it fits the scenario framing of careful navigation and specific moves. Is there some way to extend the format to more freeform narrative genre quests... just change it to instead of QM provided choices and vote tally, where anons write in to discuss all actions for the turn, then nominate one anon to submit the plan?
