>>6043655https://youtu.be/eU0IBZ3si_c?si=2dMRJlUlXM4vE45eAfter a beat, you… hear an odd noise in the distance, as you feel a powerful Magical artifact fly at blistering speeds. The noise gets louder and… wait. You feel someone with it. And now you understand the noise is someone yelling out.
As if moving like Lightning, the sword does indeed come to his hand. It’s a blade with an ornamental handle, and a thin sheet of metal for the actual blade part, one that glows bright with Magical power, a soft heat coming off it. But with it, there’s someone already holding on to it. Sala. All of you turn to stare at her, with Zelos narrowing his eyes again. Ah. Well, that… kinda explains how they’ve been breaking the nodes so easily.
She looks around for a moment, then remarks, “...Ah! Ey’ kid, kinda… thought you beat ol’ beak breath here already. And wanted to keep this a surprise!” She points at the sword. They must have pilfered it back in the temple complex.
“...How are you wielding my sword?” Zelos demands to know.
“Eh? Well I jus’ took it and started usin’ it.” she replies with a shrug. Still not letting go. “Figure anyone can.”
“No. No they cannot. They absolutely can not.”
“Clearly -I- can.” she retorts. “Ey! Izzy! Here, see if you can too!” Sala gets it out of Zelos’ grip with ease that shocks the avian alien and casually tosses it your way.
You plant the Sword of Braves in the sand and catch it- WOAH! The moment it’s in your palm, it’s… making your arm tremble. The Magic inside it is… dense, powerful, and able to radiate in such a way that it’s hard to properly hold. Zelos seems… honestly less shocked by your reaction than he did Sala having it, like he expected even you to have some difficulty holding it. He also doesn’t really show any interest in trying to check out the Sword of Braves. Well, his loss there.
“See? She can too!” Sala states almost smugly. Zelos holds his hand out and calls the sword from your hand, yet Sala actually manages to grab on to it again. It’s still in the Archon’s hand, but Sala very much doesn’t want to let go of it. “Ey, ey, ey, you don’t need to act all bitter she can do it too ya grumpy bird.”
“HOW are you able to hold on to Sophis so easily?” he demands, less perturbed that she’s trying to pry it from him again and more that she’s even capable of holding on to it still.
“What do you mean ‘how’? Like this! See!”
