>>5179103"We've finally tracked you down, Black Swordsman!" A familiar voice announces as you're on the verge of giving up your search, preferring to go straight to Albion to fight Griffith by yourself.
"We have made haste under decree of the miracle recognition department to escort your person to the Holy See! If you throw down your sword and surrender, well enough. If not, we shall seize your person in the name of god!"
Placing your carriage in a well hidden slump and mounting on Gunpowder, you spot Guts with his back turned to you, along with Farnese, Serpico and Azan attempting to arrest him for his crimes.
"I dont remember being put on trial. Not to say that I'm not guilty of anything..." He replies to the holy lady.
"You claim to be innocent, but what of your bloodstained clothes? The children of that village, the mounds of corpses left in the path you've tread, is that not your doing?"
Guts merely stays silent as Farnese stares daggers into him. You've desperately wanted him to deny those claims, but he seems to be indeed guilty.
"Seize the agent of darkness, men!" The soldiers surround Guts while he idles about. Just when you thought this would go down peacefully, one idiot from Farnese's team makes the grave mistake of swinging his sword onto his nape.
Guts tries to swing that metal plank of a sword he has, but only manages to tilt it and block the oncoming attack, dodging and punching whoever tries to attack him.
You think that Guts might be trying to be a pacifist, seeing as how he's only punching them, until you notice that one of his hands is metallic, and a single punch from it makes one of the amateur knights get his head blown off!
"Are they dead?"
"Go for his blind side, he only has one eye!"
"Watch out for his fake hand!"
"No! You're supposed to take him alive, stop!" Farnese tries to deescalate the situation, but the blood is already in her hands. Soon Guts manages to lift his sword up to his waist and swing against five armored men in a single swipe, slicing them in half like butter.
Putting two and two together, you realize that Guts isn't trying to spare anybody, he's just wounded to the point where even the rookie nobles in Farnese's army are enough to take him down with a single hit.
The blonde woman shivers as she sees her numbers falling down as Azan speaks with Serpico on who should tackle him first, not one of them noticing you hiding despite thanks to Guts' display of his violence.
What will be your course of action? Will you side with the weaker Farnese, hoping that saving the ones who tarnished your family name would somehow make you avoid her desire to burn your body in her fireplace? Or will you side with the self admitted murderer and soon to be apostle Guts, who according to the Skull Knight, would be an invaluable ally when fighting against the dark forces of Femto?
As a phantom spectator of the fight, neither side appears to be winning.
