>>5264399>>5264464>>5264490What better name for your personal caravan than The Pegasus? The one that swore not to be consumed by the Krakens of old? You'll keep that sign, it has a place on your caravan indeed.
With Barnham finally returning, you had a quick meeting with him so you could both plan ahead.
"So, what did you find?"
"Killed a few Kushans, tried eating an army of Daiba and their elephants. It ended well for me, not so much for them." He speaks of it in such a matter-of-fact way that it seems he's just talking about doing his chores. "You will certainly run into some of them until you reach Vritannis,. Even if the wards in your vehicle protect you from the ghouls, the humans enemies are the ones you should fear the most."
"I'll try to pick my fights sparingly, given what I can do at the moment. Anything else you found out there?"
"Yes, I managed to ask a few key questions in a nearby village before it got run down by Kushan soldiers. Word has it that The Black Swordsman was seen heading into the province of Cromwell, ruled by Baron Balzac."
"Never heard of that place, why would Guts be interested in going there?"
"It might be by complete coincidence, but I've heard that Balzac is researching some sort of miraculous plant based cure to cure any and all diseases happening in his land. Don't know the details, it's been a long time since I've visited, but after so many years, he's got to have some results on his tests. He was very acclaimed by his people, so I assume the place is still as safe as always."
"Knowing Guts, no events in his life can be coincidental." You ponder if he's searching for something that might restore Casca's mind. And with Balzac's research being plant-based, you might be able to contribute and finally unite with him in your group.
Alternatively, You could go there to look for a cure for Zhafira's condition. The cure might be expensive and maybe even limited, but perhaps there's enough dosage for both of them so you don't deprive Guts of his lover's safety.
>Do you know what sort of plants he's using?>What can you tell me about Balzack?>Anything else worth noting?>Maybe I'll give him a visit.>I'd rather stay focused in my journey to Vritannis.
