"Apparently there's a whole schism going down between the two corporations and it's going to enter a blood feud status soon! <span class="mu-b">I would be wary on interacting with the opposing company if you got a favor from their rival.</span>" Good thing you only have favors from Z-Company so far.
"Well, can I at least know what benefits I get from siding with the two would be? Info is power and all of that noise."
Kiara taps her foot against the ground while humming to herself. "Well, P-Company is the main producer of energy in the City, <span class="mu-b">so you'll probably get irregular shipments of A-Energy if you side with them.</span> I know some rumors about <span class="mu-b">L-Company's good luck charms actually having a LOT of power behind them.</span> Something about improving your abilities?" So, very valuable currency or possibly permanent stat boosts? Noted.
"There's also this weird rumor about some sort of <span class="mu-b">admiral</span> roaming around District 19 through 21. Apparently he's a <span class="mu-b">Color tier threat.</span>" You flinch. If he's a Color, he's WAY out of your league to deal with. "I don't know what his deal is but I would watch out for anyone wearing a buncha medals on his uniform."
"The last thing I recall is some sort of rumor about some sort of cyborg chef working at District 6?" Wait, hold on, she can't be talking about- "Apparently <span class="mu-b">he's looking for any work to help distract his mind.</span> I don't have his number but I have an Adam Borrelli's number." She hands you a slip of paper while you're busy processing what she said.
[ANOMALOUS ABILITIES] A shift in focus to keep his obsession at bay. He might come along if you hire Adam, for better or worse.
"That's all I got!" Kiara shrugs, turning her attention to chatter with Maruyama. This only leaves Gregory. He's been pretty quiet for the most part outside of nursing his beer. You can't blame him, it's obvious he's out of his comfort zone.
"Gregory?" You call out to him. He looks up from his bottle with a small smile. "Mind if I ask you something real quick?"
"Sure. What's the matter?" The old man rubs the left side of his head. "It's hard to think right now. Apologies if I'm slow to respond."
"It's fine. So, I heard something on the TV about something your family is doing with I-Company? What's that about?" Given how much focus the TV MAN put on it, you can't help but to be curious. Gregory seems to lighten up a bit at this question.
"I suppose you deserve to know this after patching me up. We found a Singularity that can finally allow us to reach absolute zero without the use of an anomaly. To sum up all of the boring science stuff, it allows for us to produce superconductors and superfluids infinitely easier!"
Huh, simple enough. Why was the TV MAN warning you about it then?
"The only downside is that it requires a LOT of energy. So, we've been looking for people to explore some old abandoned Company buildings. Including...THOSE ones. The <span class="mu-b">Alpha through Zeta ones.</span>"
