On the right hand side, Morfran and Cassidy can hear voices. During their hours of stumbling through utility and maintenance tunnels, they can feel their heads growing lighter than their bodies and feet... they must be approaching near the edge of the station, where the spin of the artificial gravity generated by the centrifugal force of rotation causes a sense of dizziness whilst their feet and lower limbs feel burdened with heavy weight. The voices emanating from this direction are accompanied by noises of heavy machinery, hammering and welding. There seems to be an abrupt pause in the drilling sounds, as if during a rest break:
