You don't tell him that none of those names mean anything to you either. You'll need to dig up info from your allies. From piecing together context clues, you can tell that they have aerial threats, ground troops, and Digimon that are dangerous enough to be singled out by name instead of lumped into a generic category.
"Is he getting these Digimon from anywhere in particular? Or just all over the place?"
<span class="mu-s"><span class="mu-b">"Everywhere. No specific spot we know of. There isn't any overabundance of one species, that can be traced to a data-heavy location. They're from all over, so the Network is the only possible place."</span></span>
It's not like Vademon's small army of strange BEMmon then, these are Digimon from out in the wilderness that are serving your enemy. You feel quite bad about wiping so many of them out, in that case.
"What are our mission goals? Surely we're not just... Deleting everything blindly."
<span class="mu-s">"I'm sure not. We'll take down DarkTyrannomon, but not massacre Rookies who are just following a leader around."</span>
<span class="mu-s"><span class="mu-b">"You won't have to. Our goal is to eliminate the leader that they've clustered around, and as many lieutenants as possible. Once enough of the keystone figures are gone, the weaker Digimon will either flee, or find a place to hide. From there, we'll move from active combat to disinfection protocols, and send teams to clean up the partition. Once they stop eating the dataflow inside, business can resume."</span></span>
"Got it. Do we have to kill him?"
<span class="mu-s">"What other choice is there?"</span>
"If it turns out that we can't handle it, will kicking him out of the partition work?"
Phascomon looks visibly upset when you pitch that.
<span class="mu-s"><span class="mu-b">"We need him deleted. No matter how you do it, it's fine. If he manages to flee into the Network, that's a mission failure."</span></span>
"What about if he goes the other way? Out into the physical world?"
<span class="mu-s"><span class="mu-b">"Bad, but not all bad: That means our external resources will be able to fully congregate on him. Like I said, no matter how he's deleted."</span></span>
<span class="mu-s">"What about wrecking the surroundings? How careful do we need to be here?"</span>
<span class="mu-s"><span class="mu-b">"Go wild. The only reason we can't flush the partition is that there's no direction for it to go. The density has been increased severely by the Digimon presence, we can't just push them all into the Network anymore. If we go the other way, they'll be pushed into the street, and that's obviously unacceptable. Either way, once the issues are dealt with, the partition will be cleaned up and reset. Nothing you could possibly do will hurt the structures in the surface layer anyway, so you don't need to worry."</span></span>
Bullets and explosions are no issue then. That's good. You would hate for them to impose their usual inane requirements, even if you're not actually part of their team.
"Okay. Next-"
Some kind of timer beeps, and Hi-Commandramon clicks his tongue in disappointment.
