The girl nodded, closing her eyes and genuinely trying to focus. You watched as her breathing slowed, and she seemed more relaxed than she had the last time she had attempted jinzen.
There was no telling whether it was working until she was awake however, and you certainly weren’t going to wake her to ask if it had worked, so there was nothing more for you to do than attempt your own jinzen, the act becoming easier and easier the more times you did it.
You opened your eyes in the room that was now becoming familiar to you, looking around for the shadowy spectre that was surely your zanpakuto spirit, but you couldn’t find it anywhere.
“Over here…” a voice lazily called out, and your voice flicked down to the ground, spying a man dressed in strange armour and clothes splayed out on the floor, presumably having been sleeping.
He stood, his eyes looking tired, as he smiled at you lazily. “Hey. Nice to meet you face to face, finally. My name’s Ryūkihei.” He paused for a moment, looking around, before turning back to you. “Huh. Didn’t think that would be so easy.”

Gonna have to call it here, as I’m falling asleep at the wheel, but I hope you guys had a good time!
