The chamber which he found the Primarch of the Steel Dragons within was just like any other chamber of the Imperial Palace. It was mostly made of brick formations in a style that valued art more than practicality. That was what he would think if he did not know the ways of the warp as well as he did.
Each and every piece of stonework and art piece which hung upon the walls of this palace was a statement within the warp. It was value that any being, let them be mortal or immortal, would look upon with the statements of value. No other race within the Galaxy would be able to match what was the Imperial Palace in terms of artistry.
This held great meaning within the warp. By creating a valuable place which gleamed across the stars because of its radiant value. Thus it became easier to project the Astronomicon and also amplify the powers of the Emperor himself.
If ever the Imperial Palace and the Throne of the Emperor were used for any other means than Ahriman would fear that day. He could only hope that day never comes lest the Universe fail.
He looked upon the figure of TalOS, the Primarch who came to help him kneeling over the body of a victim to the Flesh Change. Without Witch Sight it was hard for Ahriman to realize it was really him, so dependant was the Psyker upon his powers. It did not help him that the Primarch’s form changed drastically from the last time he had met TalOS, from a lumbering hulk of machines to a creation which appeared to be sculpted by the hands of an artisan.
When he made his approach the Primarch turned a little worse for wear. The Astartes could only imagine what the Primarch was discovering with every cut of the Knife. The man’s mouth opened, and Ahriman realized he was going to get exactly that.
“I have run a few tests of the Flesh Change and I believe it to be bound to the soul of the person. Even when I convert the body into that of a Servitor the human body I implant inside suffers from the Flesh Change within a few hours.” He said as he tapped the body in front of him, “I have looked over the records and found that there have been attempts to attune your brothers to the Astronomicon. All of these attempts, whether inflicted or not, result in them becoming dust.”
TalOS tapped the flesh as he spoke, “I wish I had more experience working on the genestock of the Emperor. Even with my own knowledge it will be hard, and my only wish is that I had more time to work on the Geneseed of my sons. With that in mind…”
>We shall look into genesplicing
>Maybe we can try to tear off the part of their soul which is infected
>Temper with the coding of the geneseed to see if it is a true mutation.
