The sounds of gunfire quaked through the ground as the hydraulics began to scream. He could feel them going through the mechanical body of his steed as the creature he was fighting was brought over his head.
There was a single moment where the hydraulics stopped, then with a devastating crunch the sounds of a crushed skull and its blood was scattered all across the battlefield. Within moments the prince looked over to see a giant monster rushing towards him with all the speed a body like it should not have reached. The only reason he knew this was happening with a single glance was seeing the creature was painted in a bloody hue of red.
He moved and presented to the creature his harpoon. A series of targeting reticles came up as the Machine Spirits came to recognize the threat for what it was, a giant monster.
With a mental command the harpoon was sent flying and was quickly dug deeply into the Xeno’s flesh. He watched as the weapon lit itself with a coursing of lightning that dug deeply into the creature. It gave a mighty scream before the stampeding feet came to an eventual halt and collapsed upon the battlefield.
Fredric took the moment to look upon the moment to make sure none of the creatures that were riding it left the creature. It appeared however that with his attack all the xenos that were riding upon it were dead.
As Arch Angelus brought back the harpoon he wielded, the Prince looked upon the battlefield with an inquisitive eye. While before there might have been waves of orks now the creatures had turned themselves into a tide of bodies rushing against their defenses. In the several waves of creatures the Prince could easily see the massive constructs that he knew were icons of their pagan gods.
Gork and Mork. Somewhere in the improved chassis of Arch Angelus he learned secrets of their enemies that the Mechanicum had learned. And upon learning them he could only feel his sense of vengeance grow.
He caught the sight of the Mechnicum’s bombardment weapons flying across the sky into the horde of Orks. Several explosions could be seen only reminding the Prince of how much land they had already lost in this conflict.
In a sense of what could only be called revenge the Prince brought down and rained upon the Xenos Hordes a thick layer of radioactive sludge that set the entire line of Xenos near him alight.
+To all forces.+ The Voice of Arch Magos Sicarian of Mars came upon the Noosphere as a feeling came over Fredric, +Commit to a collapsing retreat.+
And just like that another line of defenses were dead.
