TalOS meditated on the solar phenomena and allowed it to pass through him. His ability, even with over one year’s worth of study, did not give him the ability to lift more than a wire. What was he to do about the power of Solar Radiation which operates in so many different ways.
He measured and tested. Mankind had in an early aeon discovered how to measure the sun. To split it apart into its base components that were in existence. To TalOS these measurements lacked some scale as some flows and patterns did not correspond with previous knowledge.
Thus TalOS focused on working these out. Some of them were points that TalOS came right back to what the rest of mankind had made for it. Some of it was what he was looking for, an understanding of life itself.
The star which shined upon him was an incarnation of energy. The Universe builds upon this power which flows, creating all manner of phenomena. It was what gave cells form, which led to beasts, ending in man.
What TalOS stood there wondering was its effects upon the body, which result in an effect upon the soul. Maybe what he was missing was the idea that the soul already had ways of harvesting such powers itself instead of relying upon the body. It is a almost completely dormant part of the soul but one which TalOS examined closely.
Man was not always psychically sensitive, and at one point no psykers existed between the eras of the early 2nd millennium all the way to the start of the Long Night. Man should not have needed as much psychic power as before, and it was mental health that deteriorated first before the body truly became lost. TalOS had heard a theory so long ago that man was becoming more and more psychically sensitive, but while that is the case man does not need the warp to completely sustain the soul. The soul was wondrous, and TalOS was learning this.
Thus the Sun which was humanity’s beacon, was what gave man the energy similar to what TalOS was feeling now. As he came to this realization he so subtly moved additional wavelengths and forces into body and soul. Which ones gave him more power, which ones were duds.
In testing this TalOS found something, something that he could describe as the frequency of life. It was what fed him the most, so he would need to work more and more.
As he bent this flow of power though he noticed something odd. He noticed a thin change in the flow that was not caused by him.
