Might upon the worlds of the Mechanicum is not measured through pure military ability. It was instead measured by the amount of industry that one could press for the rest of the collective. One who manufactures bolters is not necessarily the most powerful Priest, for he can only do what he does because he also receives power from the neighboring power plant who serves not only his but thousands of other workshops.
Thus it was the man who enabled thousands to work that held most of the power. For he had thousands of contracts and agreements which placed him as the sovereign among these Priests and thus was a Magos.
AS Guilliman walked into the halls of TalOS’s Manufactorium, he realized that he was walking the place of a Fabricator General. The greatest industrial machines which raised grand slabs of metal were what he witnessed. Machines that would beat it and craft it were his examples as well as the numerous Priests who were working to create it.
Guilliman understood that service within this manufactorium was seen as both an honor and a learning experience. Lucian Priests, who focused on perfection, saw the value of creating entire Titans as the greatest honor one could have. These days it also had a practical application as TalOS brought his Forge World to create the numerous machines of war which mortal auxilia thrive upon.
As for immediate gains, the great amount of cash reward and the chance of securing land on both Lucius and faraway realms made this occupation one of the most sought after. Guilliman could only think that it grew greater and greater as his brother took control of the operation.
Guilliman found himself walking up a catwalk, all according to the instructions that were fed to him before he left his housing this day. There he found his brother looking at a giant machine of war which Guilliman could scarcely imagine walking. If he did not know the truth, Guilliman would have thought of the Warlord Titan as a Statue.
“It is good to see you arrived brother.” TalOS answered as he gave a hand towards the giant, “This Titan is to be christened as Primus Princeptus, do you not feel the power in its presence.”
“It is hard to estimate without ever seeing one walk.” Guilliman admitted as his eye looked at the grand construction, “It is mighty though.”
“It is good that you like it, for it shall be your first among many.”
