>Request a custom rifle, then head to the meeting with your mother.
“Hmm.” Hermione thinks over the old man’s words. “Just the rifle will do, then. As fast as possible, if you would.”
“Of course. I still owe yer gramps, after all. Let’s see, that prototype frame is real old now, but I should be able to get her up and ready for you in around five days. Any particular specifications you want to add on?"
Hermione waves her hand. “Just the usual. I want it well-made, preferably able to avoid jamming or overheating. It should be robust, able to work regardless of the weather, even while covered in mud or full of sand. And…”

The gunsmith grunts. “Alright, I can do that for you. Jamming is user error lotta the time, but I’ll make sure all the mechanisms are smooth as can be.”
“Your efforts are much appreciated. Is there anything else you need to know?”

“Eh, no, that should be about all.” The old man pauses. “You know, you got a good head on your shoulders, seems like you’ll be taking good care of yer gun. I’ll see if I can’t get it done in four days.” He hangs up before Hermione can reply. The girl blinks, before shrugging. As long as the rifle worked well, it was fine.
The red-haired girl glances at the time. It’d be best to begin heading over to her mother. Being prompt and timely were essential parts of being a Rockefeller, after all.
