There's this one who ruled the Red Caverns, which are speculated to have been in Alterac

Considering how mountainous it is I think it'd make sense.
It could also explain as to why some places in Alterac have dwarven names like Dun Baldar.
Granted it's more likely it was named like that by the Stormpikes who moved in later but if the settlement existed before I'm not sure if they would've renamed it, considering they are part of the human-led Alliance who'd probably want to claim the areas.
