Their shadowy bodies and eerily glowing red eyes menacing, but as they all stare at you, suddenly you realize something. The energy of this dome, it feels... Familiar. Almost as if-
“It's a Stand.” Freeza says, leaping back to your side, as Caulifla does the same. Summoning her Divine Triumph Requiem, her Stand floating behind her as the four of you form a defensive circle around Chilli. “Whatever this Stand is, if we leave the circle they shouldn't be able to follow us.”
But at his words the warriors all laugh in sync, the sound eerie.
“You think you can escape? You're all going to DIE for what you did to us!” Lavender shouts, launching himself straight at Freeza. Who counters with a simple straight left jab, Lavender's form vanishing after he punches through his face. Like punching a cloud of smoke, or an illusion.
“Hmph. Smoke and mirrors won't best us.” Freeza says disdainfully. “Trying to frighten us with those who no longer exist? But your petty illusions don't frighten me, as you cannot touch us.”
“Oh yeah?!” Basil shouts, rocketing towards Freeza with a flying kick. And it connects! Staggering Freeza back a step as the beast laughs, launching a flurry of kicks at him. Which Freeza blocks, but the impact of the blows is very clearly real. So you leap over, swinging your right through Basil's head. Who vanishes, only to reappear a few feet away with Lavender, both laughing menacingly.
“Freeza?” you ask, shocked as the attack somehow seemed to hurt him. How could an illusion hurt someone?
“Tch. Seems these shadows of yours pack quite a punch. I can see why you're too cowardly to come out and face us yourself, if your little illusions can do your dirty work for you.” Freeza taunts, the ghostly warriors of the Ninth all laughing as they take a step closer to you all. As you, Freeza, Cauli, and her Stand all look back and forth at the approaching illusions. But it doesn't matter how many warriors who no longer exist are brought back, you won't lose! You won't fail, you won't fall here. You've faced far greater Stands than this one, you won't let this stop you!
