Hearts first is surprised by the suggestion you made, but then he gives an approving nod. “Smart thinking, kid.” He does give Zelos a bit of side-eye, though. “It should be possible, right?”
“...Yes.” Zelos admits. “Though I could only recruit one. And finding one that would side with me rather than Yalbadoth will be tricky… at least, among the denizens of Heaven and the Kais.” He’s contemplative about this. “…It will require some more thought. I will need to investigate potential targets.”
“Both Lapis and Gohan have met some fairly powerful fighters from the Afterlife before, and some have even helped us directly in the past through a similar situation.” Chuu Lee points out.
“Of course, it doesn’t always have to be someone capable of fighting especially well…” Raditz remarks in a tone of remembrance.
“Given that they’re aware of what we’re doing, maybe even the Time Patrol would be willing to lend someone to aid us.” you suggest.
Both Hearts and Zelos look at you with slight confusion at that remark, and it’s the latter that comments, “Time Patrol?”
“Oh, uh… the people who work with the Supreme Kai of Time?” you try to clarify.
“So the mortals of the Twelfth were given a special exemption…” he muses.
19 tilts her head at him, finally speaking up, “Twelfth? Are you referring to one of the numbered Universes out there?”
“But of course. …Are you from that one?” he questions with a raised eyebrow.
“We are from the Seventh.” 19 clarifies.
“Wait, IS this the Seventh? Or… well, what number is this one?” you ask.
Zelos places his hands behind his back, stating in a tone that reminds you of a teacher, “This is one over from your own.
The Diligent Eighth Universe.”
