Or more commonly known as the Archivist Order, is a organization founded by Kolinasi, being named in honor of his mentor and friend Martin Archivarius, partly in jest since he keeps changing it. It’s organized like the ancient orders of Terra such as the Sigillite or Auromite, being intended to be a successor to them with the mission to ensure that humanity never experience a fall like the Old Night ever again by trying to recover lost technology, preserving knowledge and fostering cooperation within the Imperium.

Although the majority of members of the order are normal, but exceptional humans, some Astartes also may get initiated should they be able to juggle their duties as a space marine. If that happens, they are granted the title of Archivist Consul, and taught a myriad of secrets. Although they are able to the job of a techmarine or apothecary should it be necessary, their purpose is to ensure that the crusade is also accompanied by the archivists.
Fittingly for the legion of it’s own founder, the Storm Riders have the highest number of members of any other, followed by it’s brother legions of 4, 12 and 13. For example, ever Legion Master has been initiated, and quite often other positions of leadership as well.
