Nothing makes me lose interest in a quest more then a 4th wall breaking or meta shit in the first post. No attempt to even try and stay in character. Everything to do with immersion and a narrative is thrown out the window. Imagine if you opened novel and the first chapter, not foreword, was the author speaking plainly about the book before launching into the story without a page break or anything. 4chan memes and commentary should never mix in fictional text without a clear seperation.
Look how many threads in the catalog have something like that in the first post. "This is a quest where..." and "I promised you an X quest...". These quests are completely spoiled from the beginning and the QMs should make a new thread and start over.
