>>5415512"When I lose? Bitch, you've got some nerve!" Scalli snarls, immediately going on the offensive and swinging for Lattu's head. But just before her blow can land, a massive hand swings up between them, easily catching the punch. Scalli follows the arm up with her eyes, seeing the towering form of Goar glaring down at her. “Oh, can't even fight on your own? You need big boy over here to protect you?”
“You should stop, for your own good, before Karn notices.” he tells her, but then is surprised when Lattu reaches up and starts pushing his hand away. “Lattu?”
“Thank you Goar, but that won't be necessary. I'll handle her myself.” your student says, the two sharing a look. After a few seconds' silence he reluctantly pulls back, taking several steps back towards his own group as the two women stare each other down. “I'll give you one chance to avoid getting embarrassed, stand down.”
“Stand down? STAND DOWN?! Bitch, who do you think I am?!” the woman roars, aura blazing even higher in response to her fury. “I'll break you in two!”
Again Scalli swings, but this time Lattu responds. Again she waits until the last second, then with the Su Ma you and Meloka taught her, she effortlessly dodges clockwise around the off-balance punch. Before Scalli can recover, Lattu's left fist crashes directly into the stronger woman's floating ribs in a devastating counter. Had your student actually transformed, the blow would have no doubt broken ribs and incapacitated her opponent. But with the power difference all she does is make her foe wince from the damage.
“Tch! HRRYAAAA!!” the woman roars, twisting towards her with a rising left smash, fist rising up from below her waist into a powerful knockout strike. But again Lattu simply dodges, this time flipping up and over the newcomer's strike. Their heads nearly touch as Lattu twists, spinning in the air and firing off a right knee to the back of the shocked Scalli's skull. Again a devastating strike lands cleanly, one that would have ended the fight had Lattu gone all out. Instead she simply rings her opponent's bells, sending the larger woman staggering forward disoriented while she flips back and away to land on her feet. The skill gap is clear, you looking over all the newcomers and realizing why Lattu has been fighting as she has. Not to quickly end the confrontation, but to clearly demonstrate what you've taught her, to show the difference between herself and them. To show why they should train, and not simply rely on brute force and raw power.
