A strike went down towards the chestplate of Lucian, the Knight quickly bringing his scythe into a blocking motion that kept the blow away from him for just a moment. Or that would have been the hope as Lucian heard the breaking of wood crying out into the air as the pole of his scythe was slammed into by the enchanted sword.
In a flex, with the upper half of his scythe in his right, the Knight brought the weapon back towards him with devastating force. The blow was quickly parried, the enchanted blade’s flat head slamming up against the bottom of the scythe and sending it upward. The next attack was a flash as Wigmar made a strike for Lucian’s right arm, cutting into the metal and drawing just that little bit of blood in doing so.
Yet, which his weapon was enchanted, Lucian’s armor was reinforced with runes. Drungi glowed with a subtle fire as the forces trapped within the rune fought against the magics of the sword, dampening its power just that little bit. It was enough, Lucian knew, as he could still feel his arm as his left fist slammed into the face of Wigmar.
The blow was enough to push the Imperial Swordsman back, the Knight giving a smear of annoyance as he rounded about and went towards Lucian with his weapon targeting the shoulder. Lucian brought his scythe over, throwing the head of the scythe down upon the weapon in hopes that he would at least bash away the blow as it came.
Yet, for his life, Lucian watched the motion as the sword was instead turned. The movement already in motion as the enchanted sword bit into the metal of his chestplate. A large amount of pain came from the blow as magical metal roared in feirce competition with one another.
The blow, which was a hope to cut through the rune, failed as it was stopped by the outer gold of the rune. Yet as Lucian forced Wigmar to fall back he could feel the damage done to his left shoulder. How perfectly the slice must have been as he felt the blood leaking across his breast and into the pits of his armor.
