The veins that went through the growing federation allowed the recuperating of losses sustained upon what was now known as the Battle of A-1 Station. The lives that were lost were still lost but in their place twenty five ships from Lucius arrived to fill in the gap.
With the arrival of new ships comes new persons.
+Welcome to the Fleet, Arch Magos ADM1N.+ TalOS said to the man as he gave a bow, +It is a pleasure to welcome you to my fleet.+
+It is mine as well, Arch Dominus TalOS.+ The leader of the Legio Titanicus declared as he gave a shallow bow, +You have requested the presence of the Legio in the coming battles and I am here to confirm such information for myself.+
+And the information you shall have. If you will follow me we can have a better venue to talk in.+
+Lead.+ Arch Magos ADM1N said as he fell in line.
The two of them walked through the halls of the Onus Probandi with dozens of feet behind them. While many of them were the Acillian Steel Guard whose purpose was to defend the person of TalOS the Arch Magos had his own cohort.
TalOS had some time to work with the soldiery known as the Secutarii. The ones that stood next to the Magos was the Hoplite variant meant to defend not Tech Priests but the Titans themselves. It is common among the Titan Legions to know that you shall never underestimate the ability of infantry against the God Machines power.
Word is, back on Mars, that there were entire battlefields covered in the remnants of Titans who forgot such a simple lesson.
TalOS could not really say what it meant with the Arch Magos bringing such prestigious Skitarii to the fleet. Was it a sign of favor, with the chance of the Magos himself coming to the field of battle, or a slight in thinking that they could not defend the man.
Then again, TalOS wondered, was this simply a precaution against interwarp boarding?
TalOS knew he was scarred by such an event and such a massive loss of life and engines. Wouldn’t those of equal rank feel the same thing and take precautions?
