He could not stand aside, as a Knight Lucian had vowed to defend the weak in matters like these. If he was to keep his distance, to hold his stick, he would have burnt that part of his honor.
And he could feel it, some of that forte that he held. The sheer power was not there but he could feel his bones answering.
So with a charge Lucian launched himself at the mighty beast. His stick slammed into the back of the creature with the will of a thousand Knights. Yet as it did not carry the power nor the sheer destructive potential of those warriors Lucian was simply slamming his stick into the back of the giant.
The creature turned towards him and swiped. He saw it coming, and nimbly flew to the side to dodge the strike that surely would have killed him then and there. Whatever this hellish thing is Lucian would not have made a dent in its scales. Yet he did not care for this as he made another strike into its flank just to make sure that the mighty monster did not fail to realize that he was upon it.
One two three, quick blows that carries no weight or technique. All Lucian had to do though was simply strike at the monster as many times as he could so that he could come up with something. Time was not on his side as the tongue of the creature lept from the maw and tried to bite him!
The tongue of the monster, which in itself had a mouth, was batted to the side by a flinching blow by Lucian. Now though he held the complete attention of the monstersity as its ugly face was pointed directly at Lucian.
Seeing the odd people who were being assaulted by it run from behind it, Lucian knew that he had saved them. Now though he needed to do something that would get this monster of Chaos away from him.
>Poke at the eyes
>Pull at the tongue
>Give it a mighty splinter
