The first shop wasn't so much a store as it was an indoor stall with different types of items on display--supposedly warding off curses. Ayane had a sharp look on her face. You knew that she'd purchased different items in the past to cure her Bad Luck, having dealt with scam attempts many times.
"Master," Your fox woman merchant says to you. "It's best to be cautious when purchasing these types of things, trickery abounds..." She would've likely gone on if not for the arrival of a young hafling man and a human girl. They greeted you, and though Ayane didn't seem to recognize them, she still had a polite and practiced smile. Honestly they were sort of overwhelmed as you and your wives looked around and asked questions.

You were thankful that you and Herta had the ability to create artifacts that could guard against it, with Herta even having spells and passive abilities on that front.
That said, corruption was rare enough for many to have never come across it in their lifespans. There were specialized Knightly Orders that had a hand on purging all corruption after the Demon Lord's defeat.
Anyway, you decide to get...

The next store was a rather standard farmer's store. The inside wasn't too strange. The three people that owned it, though...
"Dacien, we have customers! Get the seeds from the back."
"What?"
"Seeds! Dacien!"
"What?"
"You've fucked it all up..."
