>>5198619You decide to emphasize your magical abilities this month, while also focusing on your skill with a lance and your strategic abilities. You’ve grown to favor your magic since becoming a Dark Flier. Additionally, in a situation like what just recently occurred at the Abandoned Chapel, it’s nice to still have the ability to fight, even if you’re missing your weapon.
“Great job out there, Blair.” Serena says to you, right after you finish a round of training at the Pegasus Grounds. “You’ve been working hard all year, and the results are clear. I think you’ve just about reached the limit of all I can show you with a lance.”
>“What? But how am I supposed to get stronger?”“Some things can’t be taught, even at a prestigious school such as this. Anything left to learn, you’ll have to pick up with further real-world combat experience.”
>Lance Skill: A>Lancefaire: +5 Damage when using a LanceSerena’s words catch you by surprise, but you hear them again during your training with Professor Hanneman, who you’ve been working with to advance both your magic and tactics abilities.
“It’s only natural you’d hit a plateau, Blair. You’re almost at the end of your year at the Officer’s Academy. Short of working with a master Archsage or getting a bit more practical field experience, I believe this may be as far as we go.”
>Authority Skill: A>Reason Skill: A>You learned Bolting! (12 Damage, 15% Crit, Long Range Siege Magic. 2 Uses)>You sigh. “Real world experience, huh…”“I understand that’s a bit…well, morbid. But its natural for a diligent student such as yourself to get to this point. You should be proud of the work you’ve accomplished and strive to reach even greater heights after graduation.”
>You’re liable to get plenty of real-world experience, sooner perhaps than he realizes. “Thank you, Professor Hanneman.”You’ve reached the upper echelons of proficiency with the lance and magic, and you’ve managed to become a capable leader and officer. With your Authority grades, none will likely offer protest when you are given command of a company of soldiers. As if you weren’t just an ordinary girl only a year ago. A sobering thought to be sure.
While it seems impossible to do anything enjoyable right now given the current state of Garreg Mach and your own mental state, you look to do something with your spare time.
