Whatever "local legend' they were talking about seems a little bogus. Mostly in that this was an excuse to hang out and drink in the woods. You still took a beer from the cooler but, they rest of the group is ignoring you. I mean, you maybe shouldn't expect to be more then a wallflower for your first visit but you're feeling a bit excluded.
You wonder, are they stringing you along for this as a checklist before they get access to your you know what?
Before you know it, you're the center of attention. Sam and her friends suddenly acknowledge your existence when the topic of the tunnel comes up, crowding around you and asking a barrage of questions. It seems none of them take the tunnel as piece of video fakery, or even an ARG, they all seem to think it's real. Or at least, real enough to really want to know more.
"-What's in the tunnel dude? What's up with it? Is it like a hole to another dimension?"

"I bet there's some shit in there like STALKER bro. Anomalies and unexplained stuff. Have you taken anything back from the tunnel yet? OH- did you take a gieger counter? I bet extra dimensional spaces give off a crap load of radiation!"
It's funny, you're finally getting a ton of attention for your videos but you don't really know what to do with it. Moreso, you're feeling a bit awkward that you're only being given the time of day by this group of exciting young friends because of your special "hole". But at the same time, maybe you're just being overly sensitive. After all, they don't know you yet or for anything else. Secondly, even if you feel a bit awkward, you realize it's still going to be 100% safer and easier to explore the hole further with interested people to help you along... especially if you still need to get your power tools back.
They're nothing like your neighbor, not interested in money or stringing you along and then dropping you- after all, it's <span class="mu-i">your</span> storage closet.
