The forces of the Emperor slowly became reinforced one after another with the hands of the Omnissiah touching each and every one of them. The amount of venerable souls that the Gods of Chaos were able to eat upon as they fought were none as the Omnissiah was easily able to reclaim both the soul and the body for their reincarnation into damnation.
Let them be the Custodians, Null Nobilite, or even some Machines of the Mechanicum. Each of them had their bodies infested with necrodermis that was perfected specifically for the use in organic creatures. To create a legion of warriors that were both Loyal and Sapient, for after those eras of watching the Necrons bicker amongst each other from above the Machine God theorized that there missing souls was a problem.
Without a soul one cannot change. For Necrons they could in some ways develop but that was because of the soul-like echoes that were within each of them. These were the same kind, to a much stronger extent, to the echoes that were within the matrixes of the Abominable Intelligences.
Both of these lifeforms could change but they could not fundamentally adjust. No Necron was ever comfortable within their bodies while those of the Mechanicum had grown addicted to their bodies.
It was during one of these actions that the Omnissiah flew above a breakage in the line. A horde of Juggernaughts had thrown themselves into the line and blew through the Custodians in a rampage. Just as they were brushing a path through the guard a group of Lanterns intercepted the Daemons and reached forward. In doing so the Daemons vibrated and some disappeared, becoming nothing as they were banished back to their Gods. Still, through that breakage one of the Lanterns had lost their life.
The Omnissiah as many of the others held his soul within his hand. He gave him the knowledge he held and was about to speak the terms before the soul spoke.
<span class="mu-i">“Father…?”</span>
>Your Father is here, and he is proud of you
>Indeed I am. Let me bless you with eternal service
>I am both your Father and the Omnissiah. Even as a wayward son you know what I mean.
