<span class="mu-s">Calligraphy Set - ¥5330</span>
Looked pretty useful for writing letters to send, or to use as a personal and unconventional diary for keeping track of things. It came with ink and paper, although you weren't versed in the art of Japanese handwriting.
<span class="mu-s">Healing Powder - ¥10000</span>
The merchant selling this powder kept in a tight jar claims it is mixed with ingredients collected from an enchanted forest full of magic. He claims this healing medium causes blood to clot faster during hemostasis, almost instantly stopping any bleeding injuries on top of rapidly forming scabs to heal the injury. Remains to be seen how true that is...
<span class="mu-s">Airtight Flask - ¥6490</span>
A good old flask useful for collecting water in from clean sources, it's a brass canister with a locking lid.
<span class="mu-s">Lantern and Oil capsule set - ¥8800</span>
A newly made lantern that uses oil to burn continuously, until you run out of oil to keep the lamp burning. The oil comes in a little capsule you can unfasten to pour into a tab on the lantern's bottom. The merchant selling it promises it will be very bright to see in the dark.
<span class="mu-s">Tent Tarp with leather latches - ¥20100</span>
It's a fine leather tent, it is made to be set up easily using branches and bamboo stalks or to be hung up on trees with the strips hanging off that can be tied or pulled together to secure it. It would be perfect for creating a temporary shelter. Shame it doesn't come with a bedroll.
<span class="mu-s">Prayer Beads - ¥7060</span>
They're being sold by a priest. He claims the beads can function as a warding medium against Youkai, or to be used to channel Qi through. Sounds like a load of rubbish to you.
