Bishop (he is puzzled, but he is becoming increasingly agitated, as he turns to a nervous Charlene)
-So Charlie - baby... you met this fool... at a rap battle? Some sort of street feud? Talk to me, bae...?
You notice (in fact, it was very hard for you not to stare) the significant oddly-shaped bulge in Bishop's jeans - but what you only just realise and see now, is that protruding from the waistband above this bulge, barely noticeable against his midriff, is the grip of a weapon:
TEC-9
32/32
9x19mm
semi-auto / illegal full auto conversion
An infamous open-bolt pistol originally intended to be produced for the police of an overseas apartheid government. Known to be notoriously unreliable, prone to jamming and misfire, though it's intimidating look and relatively inexpensive price, readily available high capacity magazine, alongside a brash marketing campaign with dubious claims of the firearm's coating finish being "resistant to fingerprints" raised its commercial appeal. At the height of its popularity it is said the TEC-9 accounted for 1 in 4 firearm trace requests and a quarter of confiscations by police departments. On the first variant of the TEC-9, the KG-9, filing down the disconnector would convert the firearm to full auto.
