>>5274868"Out of the way!" A short of breath Rickert shows up with the test portable cannon he was trying to build, along with a powder keg to take aim at the soul monster.
"Rickert! This is not the time to test weapons!"
"The monster disappeared with Erica! I need to find her, and if it means getting through this monster, I will fire until this pipe jams!"
Rickert seems determined to save Godot's adoptive daughter, likely feeling indebted to the deceased smith. But both your ranged attackers seem to be on very unreliable positions. Hyde is still fumbling around with his slingshot, he can likely remember his abilities if he fires enough times, but that weapon summoning spell isn't exactly giving you room for trial and error.
Rickert's weapon, on the other hand, while appearing to do a lot of damage with how much powder he brought, seems to be a test build that could easily fall apart on him.
It's hard to say that he's going to listen to you, given how the spark in his eyes come from a similar place to yours: The desire to protect the innocent.
Which one of them is more likely to take the shot?
>Tell Hyde to fire.>Tell Rickert to fire.>Tell them both to combine their attacks.>Tell Hyde to throw one of your seeds.>Call off their shots, it's better to focus on dodging.>Jump out of your horse and dodge the swords.
