Cheryl's apartment...
She's got a living room, full kitchen, at least one (two?) rooms, a seperate bathroom, even a little balcony. She's living the high life! Your little box on Level 5 is nothing in comparison. Cheryl is even kind enough to cook you some food after you mentioned how pricey the food was on this level; you suppose she took some pity on you.
”Oh my God... this is so good. What is this!? This is amazing...”
She rolls her eyes. ”It's just some instant oatmeal. I didn't have any powered Molk, so I just used water and heated it in the microwave.”
”You have a microwave!?”
She goes off to change, and by the time she comes back, you feel much better. You needed something to eat. You want to thank her again, but she seems a bit more serious.
”Max... what's the real reason you came to Level 4?”
”You know why.” You say, in-between bites. ”I wanted to help you with the crime families on this level, like you said. The Mafia. Something only The Mask can do.”
”Crossing levels of the city just to play at being a vigilante...”
”I'm not playing though!”
