>>5769798You feel like you are in the Sveen Hells right now, but as you force your vision to focus and your breathing to normalize somewhat, you really look at the Demon Knight. Irinnile is one thing, btu Heinrich Yosef looks just as ragged as you, in spite of his unholy benefactor. If your’e on your last legs, well, so is your adversary. You only need an opening.
“So thiss iss it, isss it?”
“What?” the two voices ask, the Demon Knight pausing in their master-stroke.
“What iss your plan after thisss, Irinnile?” you hiss. “You’ll kill me, the very LASSST part of the woman you claim to have loved, and then… What is it the humans ssay? ‘Ride off into the ssunssset’? But what happenss to YOSSSEF?”
“What?” both voices repeat, now slightly out-of-sync with one another—just as you’d hoped.
“Do you put your ‘boyfriend’ back to ssleep, turning him into ssome mindless sskinssuit?” you demand.
“H-hey,” you hear the Succubus’ voice object. “No, that’s not—“
“Heinrich Yossef, Green Knight!” you interrupt her. “Iss THAT your desstiny, then? Look at yourself—at this Hellish ABOMINATION you have become! Imagine what your parentsss, who you CLAIM to be avenging, would think you now now---a glorified SSEXX-TOY for the demon WHROE who ate their ssoulss!”
“That’s not—”
“I’m NOT a—”
“I’m only… This is to give me power so that—”
“He’s just trying to divide us, baby! I’m not going to—”
“Give me back my body! I WON'T GO BACK TO SLEEP!”
To your excitement, the Deon Knight’s claws falter and droop. You begin to pull yourself free from the thorny predicament in which you had become entangled, while the composite being argued with itself, in two voices at once.
“Please, Ricky, you’ve got to—”
“What have I… What have you DONE you vile wretch?! What AM I?!”
“WE, baby, it’s—”
“There is no WE, demon!”
“Now!” you roar.
With a final yank, you pull yourself free from the disoriented and divided devil-warrior, staggering back as a ball of crackling energy—your Lightning Elemental, patiently awaiting your signal, comes crashing down upon the Demon Knight one more time. Thunder erupts in the clearing, the force of the explosive impact lifting you briefly off of your feet and the white light nearly blinding you…
