She visibly relaxes upon seeing that. "Let's get the fuck out of here." Alexis gestures you to follow. The group (now consisting of four members) begins its trek back to somewhere safer. Though as you're about to get to the other side of the street-
"SYED? SYED? WHERE ARE YOU?" You hear the Gangboss yell out for someone. You try to process who it could be. "BENJAMIN? SYED, I TOLD YOU TO GUARD HIM!"
Alexis turns back to stare at you and Lex. "What did you do?" She has a look of disappointment laced with some dying hope that you didn't let Lex do what she thinks he did. But one look at the blood on his hands makes her visibly cringe.
"We should probably run, shouldn't we?" Benjamin remarks in a rare act of self awareness. You rapidly nod your head up and down. When you start hearing the shutter opening again, the four of you fucking book it.

The four of you keep sprinting until you're all the way back to the apartment block he used to live at. You and Alexis crumple to your knees while the two men seem to be pretty okay after their sprinting session.
You grab your phone and dial your Handler. You're not sure what to do now that you have him, so you might as well tell him the job's done. Your phone rings three times before you manage to get him to pick up.
"What is it, freakshit?" The Handler is chewing on something. "Busy here. It better be important or else I'm finding you later to-"
"I recovered Benjamin, sir. He's at his apartment block."
"Holy shit." The Handler makes a noise that's between a laugh and a sob. "You actually managed to complete a job? Holy shit! Okay, yeah, yeah!" He's way too excited at the prospect of you being remotely competent. It's almost worse than him insulting you.
"Uh. Keep him there. We'll send over some Z-Company agents. You'll recognize them. Don't attack them or anything or I'm cutting your rewards, alright? You can handle that, right?"
"You'll get your payment shipped to your apartment. You will be contacted later. Bye." You promptly get hung up on.
