Ironically enough, I think Xavier got the closest by putting him on his little black ops team.”</span>
She fell silent for a little while after that. You somehow managed to change the subject to the upcoming construction, and how the Morlocks would probably have to temporarily relocate until it was done. You were expecting more friction on that front, but apparently, they were pretty used to having to relocate during an emergency. You tried your very best to not make it seem like you were forcing them out, but you couldn’t help it if some people got that impression.
After a few hours of planning, creating diagrams and taking photos of the area, you sent the relevant information to your contacts and told them to start gathering the necessary materials and equipment.
Feeling satisfied with your efforts, you and Callisto shook on your new deal and promised to keep each other apprised of any new information that popped up. As soon as you could get that greenhouse set up, you would try to figure out how to plant and care for those flowers.
Hopefully, Ethel would be able to keep them alive long enough for that to happen. You would have to try and speed up construction, if at all possible.
