She hesitates for a moment before responding. "They were caught up in smuggling a hallucinogenic drug called Rift-7, It's a drug that makes users experience strange visions of other dimensions and realities."
You raise an eyebrow in surprise. "That's serious," you say.
She nods solemnly. "It is. The other council members were involved in drug smuggling, but I refused to participate. I don't consume drugs because it hinders intellectual abilities."
"That's impressive," you say. "But what happened to the others?"
Her expression turns somber. "They were all arrested and sent to rehabilitation. I'm the only one left," she says quietly. "It was a lonely position to be in, but I'd rather be alone than be caught up in something like that." She adds, "Well, I guess, it doesn't matter anymore..."
What did you do to end up in this school?"
She hesitates for a moment before answering. "It's not something I like to talk about," she says evasively.
You press her further, "Considering what we are doing, you owe me that much."
Her expression turns cold. "I don't owe you anything," she retorts sharply. "It's your fault I got in trouble, because you told Jaq my secrets, and Jaq reported me to the school administration."
You feel a pang of guilt, realizing that she's right. You have betrayed her trust in the past. "I'm sorry," you say softly.
Her expression softens slightly, but she still seems guarded. "Stop the interrogation, now," she says firmly. "If I want to divulge my past, I'll do it on my own terms. But I won't be pressured into it."
"I'm sorry," you repeat.
As you listen to Se-young, you can feel Aki, your femsona, tugging at the edges of your consciousness, eager to come out and play. A part of you wants to reject Aki, to keep her at bay and avoid the risks that come with her uninhibited personality. But for now, Aki is still integrated inside of you, a constant reminder of the thrills and dangers that await in the shadows.
