>Let Porcupamon fight. He's not going to lose, that's absolutely certain. It's just a drain of time if you keep letting them get back up. You haven't encountered the leader of this bunch yet, so you want him to preserve his energy and bide his time. While he's doing this, you can ask them a few more questions and try to get some information.
>Release the Digimon. They'll book it to the exit, most likely, and will distract the purple mob along the way. Saving Pulsemon was a good deed that you felt was right. This will be the same, even if they cause issues later.
“Screw it, get them all loose.”
“Okay.”
Ryan doesn’t question it or waste time with any counterargument. You’re both on the same page. It’ll leave a bad taste in your mouth to keep them tied up. Whatever cruel experiments these freaks are doing to their own kind, it’s a fate they don’t deserve. Or at least, not one they’ve proven to deserve. You’d let them carve up DarkTyrannomon or Garden-king Gazimon.
Once they’re all free, you help to flip the orange Tsukaimon over. He flaps his wings uselessly, not having the energy to fly, so you just lift him off the bed and set him on the ground.
“You want to get out of here, right? Stick with us. Just till the door.”
They want to get to the exit, and you want to get to the mysterious door. You can follow them to their destination and benefit from their protection, then hug the wall of the operating theatre and head towards your own goal without being hassled by minions.
<span class="mu-s"><span class="mu-g">”Thank you, oh, thank you!! I’m too young to be lasered!”</span></span> Espimon squeaks.
You all start running, trying to stay away from the bulk of the crowd. By now, Porcupamon and Gizamon have partnered up. They’ve fallen into a natural, comfortable rhythm. Instead of attacking indiscriminate, your friend has started batting Digimon in Gizamon’s direction. He then jumps on them and deletes them before any scavengers can upgrade themselves with the traces.
“Look out!”
<span class="mu-s"><span class="mu-g">”Air shot!”</span></span>
An enemy sprints straight at you with claws outstretched while you watch your partner. You’re swiftly rescued by the Digimon that you helped, who puffs out his cheeks and blasts it aside.
The turtle makes eye contact with Pulsemon and a nod passes between them. It then drops to the ground and curls into its shell. With renewed vigor, he jumps out of Ryan’s arms and kicks the turtle, sending it ricocheting into the Digimon as it tries to get back up.
