You tell her that you love her, and you admit how much of a lousy lunatic brother you really are. She looks up at you, still clearly very afraid, and sighs.

You hug her. You untie her hands. You hear footsteps behind you. You turn around. It's Lily.
"Fido!" Lily exclaims, tears running down her face. Seems like everyone's crying today. "Listen, I'm sorry. I... I know I'm not a very nice or even a very good person.
