Although he clearly isn't comfortable with your crime committed, he is at least impressed by the amount you stole and even expresses as much to you. Not pride but some respect perhaps, that you're not just some brash idiot about all this who stumbles into trouble. Yeah, that's definitely not you at all! With a robbery like this to steal so much, of course you're the greatest supervillain in the world and someone like that wouldn't be a brash idiot.
