Astamon looks up again, scowling in annoyance. The bug is back, and he has company. Two dozen insect Digimon have peeled off from the greater swarm. You spy several different varieties. Red, yellow, green, with differently shaped wings. A trio of crimson ones begin firing off ranged attacks.

Two of them shoot at you with the stings at the ends of their long abdomens, while a third fires an electric spark. You consider trying to shoot the projectiles down, but Astamon leaps off the wall and starts flapping his way upwards. There's too much motion for you to aim properly, so you just cling on and hope none of the strays hit you.
<span class="mu-s">"HELLFIRE!"</span>
A burst of gunfire instantaneously slays a swathe of the mob. There are some who are slightly out of reach, or durable enough to take more than a few hits. Those Digimon speed up their flapping and send clouds of powder falling towards you two.
And notably, a group of bright yellow ones plummet past Astamon, completely ignoring him.

You manage to scan the Digimon as they abandon the fight and go straight for the pile of food you've left on the ground floor. Among the meat and leaves are several sweets you've saved up. By the time they're on the ground, they're too small to make out clearly, but you can see them going for the candy and treats.

<span class="mu-s"><span class="mu-r">"Seems like they're still Rookies at heart."</span></span> A different yellow one says. It has a more oblong head, ending in a point.

The moth aims its gun at you again.
